International award – 4th International Conference on Countermeasure to Urban Heat Islands and Climate Change through Mitigation and Adaptation 2016

Research activities and outcomes in the course of Camp IT presented in the paper “Coupling building energy simulation software with Computational Fluid Dynamics for the evaluation of the impact of urban outdoor conditions on the energy consumption and indoor environmental quality” were awarded as “Best applied Urban Heat Island Research” at the 4th International Conference on Countermeasure to Urban Heat Islands and Climate Change through Mitigation and Adaptation 2016 in Singapore. The paper describes the methodology for linking improvements in indoor environmental conditions with buildings’ outdoors spaces and surroundings.
